Maryville Comprehensive Plan Adopted

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thursday, December 20, 2012 CONTACT: Greg McDanel, City Manager 660.562.8001 Maryville, MO – On December 19, 2012, the Maryville Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously voted to adopt the Maryville Comprehensive Plan as the official plan to guide all future aspects of development and redevelopment in the community. The plan was adopted by Resolution No. 599 in accordance with Chapter 89.360 of the Missouri Revised Statutes.
ChloroFill and Chromatin Partner to Harvest Sorghum Biomass for the Production of Renewable Building Materials

Chromatin’s Proprietary Sorghum 2012 Season Crop Successfully Grown for First Ever Biomaterial Application SAN DIEGO, CA and CHICAGO, IL – December 12, 2012 – ChloroFill LLC, a renewable, sorghum-based building material company, and Chromatin, Inc. , an agricultural biotechnology company that is developing sorghum feedstocks for bio-industrial processes, today announced a collaboration to harvest Chromatin sorghum for the production of ChloroFill’s building products. Despite 2012’s record drought conditions, the partners successfully grew a high-yielding 2012 season crop, to be used in ChloroFill’s production process. This represents the first use of Chromatin’s proprietary sorghum for the manufacture of renewable building materials.

Northwest Missouri State University CIE welcomes Missouri Moisture Analyzers LLC to Maryville MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at NorthwestMissouriStateUniversity has entered into an agreement with Missouri Moisture Analyzers LLC, the University and company announced today. Missouri Moisture Analyzers LLC is an agriculture-technology company that builds and calibrates moisture control analyzers used in agriculture production and grain storage. Missouri Moisture Analyzers plans to sell, assemble and maintain equipment and service contracts in the United States, Mexico and Central America.
